NY Times Appearance.
Ayako Tachikawa becomes the first International Japanese Flower Designer to host
"Flowers & Designs", a NYC event. In attendance were Luxury brands Hermes,
Escudo and Tiffany and over 50 renowned flower designers from around the world.

1998 After acceptance into the N.F.Y.D., an industry leader and the largest
flower arrangement organization, Ayako Tachikawa exhibits her designs as a Japanese
Ikebana Master Professor. Following this achievement, she begins a personal study of
floral arrangement through travel across the globe.

2003 Enjoys great success collaborating with renowned flower designers in NYC, Paris, London, Germany and Asia. Enters into technical cooperation agreements with numerous international floral design schools.
Joins the floral arrangement staff for the AOL Time Warner Building Opening Party in NYC.
Takes command of stage flower decoration for the NY Philharmonic Orchestra,
Lincoln Center.

Jan.-Jul. 2004 Serial Appearances in "Flower Shop", a popular monthly magazine published by Sodo Publishing Co. (Jan.-Jul. 2003)

Feb.1, 2004 Grows to become the most popular flower design school in Kobe,
achieved after only one year after the foundation of the school. (A report by Recruit)

Apr. 2004 Participates in "Flowers & Designs", a show supported by The Horticultural Society of New York, for the first time. The show gathers top NYC
designers.

Feb.2005 Establishes Floral Design Brand - Rhapsody - Founded upon the original principles of flower design, and successfully adopts floral designs from various countries, showcasing the newest international floral
arrangement techniques.

Apr.25, 2005 Becomes a member of "Flowers & Designs”, gaining a seed position. Second appearance in the "Flowers & Designs " event supported by The Horticultural Society of New York.

Jul.2005 Opened her office,"Ayako Tachikawa".

Aug.2005 Appears in the feature article for "Best Flower Arrangement" by Four Seasons Press Co.

Exhibits the "Urban Garden Creator Show" sponsored by the Japan Ikebana Association.

Nov. 1, 2005 Introduces the 'International Flower Designer Association' to the public.
Starts floral design production "Rhapsody.PRO"

Nov. 2005 First essay appears in “fd”, a magazine by Deep place Co. Successfully
launches career as an essayist, receiving many favorable comments from readers.

Dec. 2005 Appears in the feature article for "Entre", a Recruit magazine. Shares her insights as an advanced firm’s leader (industry leader) on strategies for practical use of outside partners.

Apr. 2006 Third appearance in "Flowers & Designs ", an event supported by The Horticultural Society of New York.

May. 2006 Creates 'Flower.Design.Balance'. This concept becomes the first theory of general flower arrangement in the world.
Begins to write a book on internationally acceptable and practical flower design while continuing her work on the flower photo collection, an easy to understand guide to floral design.

Jul.2006 Gains Trademark rights for her company.
Initiates the "Ayako Tachikawa" project.

Aug. 2006 Hosts 'NY Style Photo Exhibition”, a solo exhibit at a luxury hotel in Osaka, featuring overseas pictures. Begins her journey as a flower artist, a great challenge in Japan’s current flower design world.

The flower design brand -Rhapsody - begins flower-design classes held in numerous Luxury hotels in Osaka.

Nov.2006 Appears in the Dec Issue of the Japanese Monthly Magazine "Florist ", by Seibundo Shinko Publishing Co. Pens a column about the modern NYC party table in the table decoration section.

Feb.2007 The Flower Design Brand -Rhapsody- successfully expands to Kobe
City, holding classes in luxury hotels in Kobe.

Her most recent book, "The World is My Flower Stage -Flower Stage-" by Kanariya Publishing Co. goes on sale Mar. 31, 2007 "Ayako Tachikawa" begins her work as a flower artist and internationally renowned flower designer in the media and for firms in Japan.

Apr.2007 Fourth appearance in "Flowers & Designs”, an event supported by Horticultural Society of New York.

Hosts the first "Ayako Tachikawa Flower Art Get-Together" at The Pierre on 5th Ave. NYC.

Begins the 'Ayako Tachikawa Seminar' in NYC, hosting lectures on flower design and arrangement.
